Collect has been redesigned from the ground up to be a best of breed document
management solution aimed at the enterprise environment. With a web client front
end it makes sharing your documents and collaborating with co-workers a breeze.
Supporting source inputs such as high speed document scanners, Microsoft Office
2010, folder monitoring or a purpose built print driver there is no limit to the
type of files that it can handle. Furthermore files can be added to folders
effortlessly within the web browser using standard drag and drop technology.
The assignment of additional metadata can be a manual process or automated with
the use of our barcode and OCR technology.
Locating files is just as easy by using the quick search box; search across all
metadata and within documents and get a list of matching files instantly, then
launch the file using your favourite application or use one of the many built in
viewers defined within the application.
But Collect is more than just a document repository, some of the standard
features include;
- Unlimited hierarchy of folders within which to store your data
- Unlimited metadata that can be assigned at a folder level
- Folder metadata rules that prevent mis-typing or incorrect entry of information that can be defined using regular expressions
- Role based security that can be applied to application functions, folders, objects and metadata
- Add notes to objects

We’ve invested heavily over the last few years ensuring that Collect remains as a best of breed product and we listened to what our customers asked for and made those requests a reality. Some of the highlights from the forthcoming version include;
- Heavily revised interface which provides an explorer style view of your folder structure to easily locate documents.
- Smart Folders that provide the ability to group documents together with the same set of metadata. This means that you can now define a smart folder that represents a project and have all associated files linked together using the same metadata set, irrespective of their file type.
- Version control
- Microsoft Office 2010 plug-ins allow you to add documents directly to the Collect repository from within Microsoft Office, whether it be a Word document or an email complete with attachments
- Windows shell integration
- Automatic Index Module which provides the ability to monitor one or more folders and as files appears in those folders have them automatically indexed in to the repository based on a set of pre-defined rules
- Ability to rate and comment objects within the system
- Automated email notifications for when details about an object change
- Ability to share information with internal and external users
