CIPD was established in 1913 and are a professional body that set standards for HR and people development, as well as driving positive change in the world of work. They have hubs in the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Asia and have more than 145,000 members around the world with an active community of more than 128,000 unique visitors this year alone.
CIPD had previously worked with another supplier who over time had implemented two different content management solutions. The requirement was to take these two solutions, merge them and provide refreshed branding in line with their updated corporate look and feel.
Also, CIPD wanted to take advantage of the new functionality offered in the latest version of the content management system.

- Implement Telligent Community 8.5
- Migrate two Telligent platforms to Telligent Community 8.5
- Configure Web Analytics
- Design and build a new custom theme and branding to the new platform
- Integrate a custom SSO solution
- Provide training
- Provide ongoing support.
CIPD’s two content management systems were successfully migrated to one within the business defined time window and now benefit from having just the one platform along with the newer features that the platform now offers.
After successfully completing this project Docunetic were asked to perform the next update to Community version 10 which is currently in progress.
